Speyside is home to over half of Scotland’s Malt Whisky distilleries and for many people is the ‘spiritual’ home of whisky making in Scotland. Departing from Aberdeen or Inverness, this tour will travel through some of Scotland’s most glorious countryside and include the chance to tour some of the most famous distilleries in the world.
Our visits include Glenfiddich, famous for its distinctive shaped bottle and The Glenlivet, home of the first licensed distillery in Scotland. There will be plenty of time to experience both the manufacturing process and to sample and enjoy the finished product; a wonderful Speyside dram.
This tour can be readily modified to include alternative distilleries: perhaps the innovative bottlings of Glanallachie; or Cardhu, Highland home of Johnnie Walker; or maybe Strathisla for the fans of Chivas Regal?
